Training

Our staff have access to inhouse training, and we also make specialist training courses available to our staff from trusted training providers with proven track records who contract on our terms and conditions.
We are fully aware and mimic Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014: Regulation 18 standards.
We know that the intention of this regulation is to make sure that providers deploy enough suitably qualified, competent and experienced staff to enable them to meet all other regulatory requirements described in this part of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014.
If you want to deliver ‘good’ and ‘outstanding’ care, and meet Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards, your service needs to have safe and competent staff. This is what we exactly believe in. We provide safe and competent staff to different care settings, both on temporary and permanent basis. By competent we mean, staff that are experienced, with right values, skilled and trained to do provide care and support your service users need and deserves. As a minimum requirement to work with Willis Care and Nursing, staff must undertake annual mandatory training courses that includes:
